ApeCoin DAO launches marketplace for its community

ApeCoin DAO and NFT infrastructure company Snag Solutions have partnered to launch an NFT marketplace focused on Yuga Labs projects, according to a Nov. 23 tweet by Zach Heerwagen, CEO of Snag Solutions.

These projects include BAYC, Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), Bored Ape Kennel Club (BAKC) and Otherdeed for Otherside. 

The ApeCoin marketplace also offers unique features, including ApeCoin staking and NFT metadata integrations and caters specifically to the BAYC and Otherside communities.

The marketplace also announced its royalties fee structure, offering lower fees for sellers, 0.5% fees for $ETH sales and 0.25% fees for $APE transactions, with a 0.25% of each sale to be held in a multi-signature wallet to fund DAO initiatives.

‘Snag exists to support creators by unbundling marketplaces, and we're excited to partner with the ApeCoin community to replace the status quo with a product that respects royalties while heavily reducing fees,’ explained Heerwagen.

The ApeCoin DAO marketplace began as a community-driven initiative and was established after the proposal (authored by Heerwagen) to create the marketplace amassed 88% of votes from the community. The marketplace is not affiliated with Yuga Labs.
