To celebrate Ethereum’s Merge, ConsenSys announced it will launch one of the first ‘green’ or sustainable NFT drops on the Ethereum Mainnet post Merge.

The collection, titled Regenesis, will feature images that depict detailed futuristic worlds that embody the benefits of the Merge - ‘sustainability, security, and scalability.’ To curate the collection, ConsenSys partnered with artist and illustrator Chris Skinner to the NFT animations.

According to ConsenSys, the collection serves as a technological  memorabilia that they believe will be important in documenting an important technological milestone and ‘a watershed moment in Web3’s evolution.

Ethereum’s transition to proof-of-stake will see Ethereum’s carbon footprint by 99.95%, enhanced security, scalability and growth.

Established in 2014, ConsenSys is a blockchain software company and incubator, accelerator and investor that boasts a suite of developer tools. The company aims to provide support and solutions to developers, enterprises and government to launch Dapps, financial infrastructures and help them harness the power of Ethereum.
