Elon Musk tweets about making Dogecoin a payment method on Twitter Blue

Tesla and Spacex CEO Elon Musk has suggested accepting Dogecoin as a payment method for Twitter Blue subscription service. This came after he joined the social media giant’s board of directors and promised to make 'significant improvements to Twitter in the coming months' on Tuesday.
On top of suggesting the use of Dogecoin coin for users to pay for Twitter Blue’s subscription service. He added a price cut and ad ban to the list.
Improving Twitter Blue, The Musk Way
Launched in July 2021, Twitter Blue is the social media giant’s first subscription service that offers exclusive access to premium features like 'Undo Tweet', customizable Twitter app avatars and bookmark. The Undo Tweet allows users 20 seconds to preview and edit his Tweet before posting it on the platform.
The price of subscribing to Twitter Blue that comes with the authentication checkmark is around '$ 2/month, but paid 12 months upfront & account doesn’t get checkmark for 60 days (watch for CC chargebacks) & suspended with no refund if used for scam/spam.' Musk said.
'And no ads. The power of corporations to dictate policy is greatly enhanced if Twitter depends on advertising money to survive,' he added.
Musk also said that the authentication checkmark “should be different from [a] ‘public figure’ or ‘official account’ checkmark.'
He also stated that the pricing 'should be proportionate to affordability & in local currency.'
The Twitter Blue service is available only in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
