Eminem and Snoop Dogg turn into Bored Apes in new music video

NFT aficionados and legendary rappers Snoop Dogg and Eminem just released a music video where they are featured as Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) avatars.
The music video debuted at the ApeFest NYC, where BAYC and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) holders caught a first glimpse of ‘From The D 2 The LBC’.
The music video opens with Eminem preparing to record a take in the booth. ‘Yo, why’s it so smoky in here man?!’ Eminem complains to Snoop. The two rappers suddenly get high from Snoop’s cigar, and morph into their Bored Ape avatars.
Both rappers are proud NFT holders.
Eminem bought his Bored Ape avatar, which he uses as his Twitter profile picture, for 123.45 ETH (USD $452,000) at the end of 2021 and became a member of the Bored Ape Yacht Club. His OpenSea account, Shady Holdings, shows he has 26 other NFT acquisitions.
Snoop Dogg owns many NFTs and has long immersed himself in crypto-culture.
Back in February, he announced a partnership with Gala Games to launch his new album ‘Bacc on Death Row’ as an NFT. ‘Blockchain tech has the power to change everything again and tip the table in favor of the artists and the fans, and we’re going to be right at the front of the pack.’ the rapper said.
In early June, Snoop revealed his plans to open a restaurant, Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration, an 'immersive retail dessert experience' themed around his BAYC avatar.
The rapper also has digital real estate in The Sandbox and hosted events on the property.
