Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen is coming to The Sandbox Metaverse

The celebrity chef is partnering with The Sandbox and ITV studios to bring Hell’s Kitchen to the Metaverse.

Michelin-starred celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay just announced that his five-time Emmy-nominated reality TV series Hell’s Kitchen, is entering the metaverse. The Sandbox is entering a partnership with the producers of Hell’s Kitchen, ITV Studios to open its first-ever Metaverse kitchen.

 

According to the announcement, The Sandbox Metaverse community will be able to ‘create new virtual dishes, win contests, collect recipes and compete for a chance to become Head Chef.’


The Metaverse kitchen will also host the experience of the Hell’s Kitchen show which comes with chef-themed gaming challenges and Hell’s Kitchen themed assets for players to build original experiences in the game. The in-game assets include limited edition avatars of Gordon Ramsay, which will be available at a later date. 

 

Ramsay expressed his excitement at entering the Metaverse for the first time and his fascination with The Sandbox and its products in the space as the reasons behind choosing The Sandbox as the place to reinvent his brand. 

 

‘I couldn’t think of a better platform to bring the high energy of my Hell’s Kitchen restaurant and brand,’ Gordon Ramsay said via The Sandbox’s Medium post

 

​​According to the official Sandbox page, ‘Only the greatest chefs can survive Hell’s Kitchen. Are you up to the task? Create outstanding new dishes, win competitions, collect recipes and compete for your chance to make it to Head Chef. It’ll be a delicious experience!’

Hell’s Kitchen is an American-British reality show hosted by Gordon Ramsay, whose restaurants received 16 Michelin Star. His TV show features two teams of chefs competing for the position of head chef of a restaurant through cooking challenges. 

 

The show has reached 24 global locations, aired 20 seasons, scoring five Emmy nominations.
