Liverpool FC expands partnership with Sorare

The English Premier League team, Liverpool FC, has expanded its current partnership with Sorare, the NFT-backed fantasy sports game, making it an official global partner.
The initial partnership was formed last year. At the time, the pair launched digital cards of first-team players – including Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk – on Sorare’s platform.
The newly expanded partnership will see Liverpool FC and Sorare spin up more multimedia fan content and release new unique experiences for Reds fans and Sorare’s managers. In addition, Liverpool will continue providing tokenized sports cards of its stars on Sorare.
Liverpool can tap into Sorare’s platform across 185 countries to engage with new fans.
The exclusive partnership marks the latest breakthrough for Sorare, which now has more than two million users worldwide and 280+ sports partnerships with major players, including La Liga, the Bundesliga, Serie A and Major League Baseball.
Ben Latty, commercial director at Liverpool FC, said: “At Liverpool Football Club, we’re always striving to pioneer new technologies for our supporters, with the aim of enhancing their fan experience and making them feel as connected as possible to this club.
‘We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with Sorare and go further in bringing exciting new initiatives to our fans,’ she added.
