McLaren Automotive turbocharges into the Metaverse

McLaren sends its brand to the Metaverse with its latest project

Today, British luxury carmaker McLaren Automotive joined forces with InfiniteWorld to launch its Web3 platform -McLaren Special Operations(MSO Labs).  

 

MSO Labs is a group of designers and engineers facilitating McLaren’s entry to the Web3 ecosystem, and the expansion of a like-minded community. They focus efforts on pushing the boundaries of performance, possibility, and design without being constrained by laws of physics or thermodynamics.

 

Infinite World's backing will offer customers a more immersive digital experience, including the creation and minting of NFTs that will represent McLaren’s supercars and hypercars. 

 

Exclusive NFTs will grant holders access to unique, buyer-only experiences such as virtual tours of MSO Labs, special events and never-before-seen sketches by their in-house designers.Today, British luxury carmaker McLaren Automotive joined forces with InfiniteWorld to launch its Web3 platform - McLaren Special Operations (MSO) Lab.

McLaren Special Operations is a group of designers and engineers facilitating McLaren’s entry to the Web3 ecosystem, and the expansion of a like-minded Web3 community to collaborate and connect on their platform. On top of that, strengthen the company’s ability to push the boundaries of performance, possibility, and design without being constrained by laws of physics or thermodynamics in the physical world.

 

Backing McLaren Automotive and MSO Lab’s initiatives is InfiniteWorld, a metaverse infrastructure platform that enables brands to create, capitalize and drive consumer engagement with online content. Its role in the partnership will be to help McLaren offer its users a more immersive digital experience, including the creation and minting of NFTs that will represent McLaren’s supercars and hypercars.

 

McLaren Automotive’s NFT launch plans and outlook

 

The first NFT collection is called Genesis Collection, which will be an invite-only, randomized mint featuring the most iconic car in McLaren Automotive’s history. 

 

Select NFTs will allow holders access to exclusive, buyer-only experiences such as virtual tours of the MSO Lab, special events with MSO’s Team and never-before-seen sketches rendered by the design team. All the NFTs will be available on a McLaren marketplace that will be launched in the next few weeks.
