Miley Cyrus files Metaverse and NFT trademarks applications

Miley Smiley, the label of U.S. celebrity, singer, actress and songwriter Miley Cyrus has filed Metaverse and NFT trademark applications to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) the On August 16 according to trademark attorney lawyer Mike Kondoudis.
The two applications filed are for ‘Miley’ and ‘Miley Cyrus.’
According to the applications, the singer is looking forward to offering entertainment services such as drama, comedy or musical performances, downloadable virtual clothing such as jewellery, bags, headwear and eyewear;, energy drinks, fruit beverages, non-alcoholic drinks and carbonated beverages; downloadabe computer software for virtual currency, goods and digital asset management, toys, video game equipment, badges and more.
Cyrus had already joined the Roblox Metaverse before this independent venture. She was invited by Gucci to be the ‘first’ celebrity guest in Gucci Town and appear as the face of the brand’s new Flora Gorgeous Jasmin campaign.
Cyrus will be leading a series of gaming quests to educate Roblox players about Gucci as a brand and its new fragrance.
Previously, Paris Hilton also entered the Metaverse last December by launching a New Year’s Eve party on Roblox and then her NFT collection with Superplastic.
In similar news, singer and songwriter Billie Eliish also filed trademarks for both her name and the Blohsh logo via her company, Lash Music LLC.
