Nifty Gateway launches ‘Publishers’ storefront for curators

Gemini-owned NFT marketplace, Nifty Gateway, launched the beta version of its Publishers platform. The new platform will enable users to curate NFT drops and sell them through their own Shopify-like storefronts.
At present, this beta program allows 50 beta Publishers, or curators to select a roster of artists and manage their own NFT storefronts, flexible payment options, unique drop types, rules for buyers, First-Come First-Served Releases, 1/1 Auctions, Open Editions when curating their NFT drops.
Nifty Gateway plans to open the Publishers platform up to other groups beyond art curators, including self-publishing artists, brands planning their NFT launches for loyalty utility and more.
This platform introduces a new way for people to make a living through becoming curators. A curator forms partnerships with artists to launch NFTs.
The platform addresses the lack of tools available for people to become curators as existing NFT minting tools only support creators and collectors in direct sales. Nifty’s suite of tools helps curators take away the complex task of building and creating their own storefronts.
‘Nifty Gateway artists consistently say that without our in-house curators they wouldn’t be able to achieve the same level of success,’ said co-founder of Nifty Gateway, Duncan Cock Foster.
‘Curation should be limited only by vision and the ability to identify talented artists. In the same way that Shopify made e-commerce accessible for millions of people and created a new way to make money online, Nifty Gateway Publishers aims to do the same in NFTs and Web3. By opening up our platform to more curators, I believe that we will significantly increase the number of curators and artists who can earn a living by selling NFTs.’ he added.
