Leading NFT marketplace Opensea just announced a new multi-chain feature-  the Solana launchpad.

According to OpenSea’s blog post, the Solana Launchpad will allow Solana NFT creators to host end-to-end new NFT minting from the pre-mint activities to actual minting, allowlist minting for early supporters as well as all post-mint and secondary sales.

OpenSea goes on to state its belief in a future of multi-chain ‘where people on OpenSea have access to NFTs across a vast number of blockchains.’ It explained that it chose Solana to be its partner in the initiative because ‘Solana has emerged among the top blockchains for NFTs, and we share their vision of a scalable and inclusive NFT ecosystem.’

‘We’re excited to start this program with two Solana creators as part of our launchpad experience. We are excited to launch and learn with these first drops, and we’re committed to expanding primary drops on OpenSea,’ notes OpenSea.

The launchpad will kick off with two drops by OpenSea and Solana. These collections include 8,888 Zoonies from July 20, 2022, and Monkai NFTs from July 26, 2022.
