Golf’s leading professional tour, The PGA Tour announced that it has partnered with Tom Brady’s sports and entertainment marketplace, Autograph, to launch a dedicated market for golf-themed NFTs in early 2023.

The goal is to enable fans to ‘celebrate their love of the game by owning a token of its storied history,’ according to the PGA Tour.

The utility NFT collection will feature iconic PGA Tour golfers and the most epic moments from PGA Tour archives and the current FedExCup Season. In addition, collectors will be able to earn rewards with utilities, including access to exclusive digital, in-person and onsite experiences, along with other program benefits.

What’s more, Tiger Woods will join the Web3 project by serving as Autograph's Advisor. ‘I’m very excited to be a part of this next chapter with Autograph and the PGA Tour. Enhancing the golf world with NFTs will create a connection between us as players and the fans,’ said Tiger Woods.

Len Brown, PGA TOUR Chief Legal Officer, and EVP, Licensing explained that,’The TOUR is continuously looking for innovative ways to engage fans to bring them closer to the game and their favorite players, so we’re thrilled to start building the future of golf fandom with the Autograph team.’
