VeeFriends announces partnership with Johnnie Walker to offer utility NFTs

Today, Johnnie Walker and its parent company Diageo Plc announced a major partnership with Gary Vaynerchuk’s (Gary Vee) VeeFriends NFT series. Together, they will offer a luxury gifting experience to VeeFriends’ 555 Gift Goat NFT holders.

The holders will receive six physical gifts including limited edition Johnnie Walker Blue liquor, embossed with the VeeFriend’s Goat avatar, courtesy of Johnnie Walker over a three-year period. The floor price of the Gift Goat NFT is 32.3 ETH.

Holders will also attend an activation at the upcoming Veecon, the world’s first NFT-ticketed conference slated for May 19 to May 22 in Minnesota (in 2 weeks). 

Gary Vee expressed his gratitude “for the people that maintain the reward goat NFT and for Johnnie Walker, the model, to be embarking strategically and thoughtfully into the Web3 house.” in an announcement.

VaynerNFT, a consultancy created to help lead emerging intellectual property owners and brands navigate the Web3 ecosystem secured the partnership between VeeFriends and Johnnie Walker.

This partnership is one of the few alternatives Diageo Plc is pursuing in the Web3 direction. Diageo is seeking to increase its prospects and accumulate more clients in Web3 globally and offer users their famous liquor and real-life experiences.

Gary Vee is best known for his social media vlogging with Wine Library TV back in 2006 while serving as their director of operations. Now he’s bringing Johnnie Walker into the Web3 ecosystem for the first time.
